Tormos (Spiced Lupins Appetizer)

Colourful food, lots of freshness, lots of vitamins, lots of nature! Guaranteed authentic food like my mother and grandmother used to prepare! Whether brunch, lunch, or dinner, you will always have fond memories of our delicacies and will definitely recommend it to others ! Only fresh, only delicious, only homemade!


  • 300 g Lupines

Herbs and Spices:

  • Salt, ground cumin, cumin, pepper, pakrika powder (hot or sweet according to taste)
  • olive oil and/or lemon juice.


  1. Wash the lupines and soak overnight in approx. 2.5-3 times the amount of
    water. In the morning, bring to a boil, then simmer until crunchy.
  2. Drain the water, season with the spices according to taste. Add olive oil, and/or
    lemon juice according to taste.
  3. Mix and serve in small bowls for snacking!

Tip: You can also season with olive water (water of pickled/canned olives).
