Slow Food USA strives to create a world where all people can eat food that is good for them, good for the people who grow it, and good for the planet.
We have a group in the US called Slow Beans that focuses on the preservation and celebration of beans throughout the United States. We are doing a year-long campaign called Plant A Seed that features beans as the central theme for teaching about climate resilience, nutrition, food justice and human migration.
We use our Ark of Taste catalog to guide which beans to celebrate.
