We are a small non-profit breeding organisation at lake Zurich. Our varieties are all organically breed and it is important that they are adapted to local conditions. We work with varieties of several cereals (wheat, spelt, emmer etc.), summer peas and white lupins.
As organical breeding takes a long time, we do not have own pea varieties on the market yet, but are just now in the progress of applying for registration with three breeding lines.
Expertise in screening/testing different pea varieties, seed exchange, network of farmers/breeders/research, experience with screening for diseases (collaboration with FiBL), participatory breeding and sensoric tests.
Exchange of information and experiences on cultivation and use of legumes, exchange of cultivars, promotion of usage (at farming, cooking, marketing level).
