At BFH-HAFL, agronomy students can choose the specialization “international agriculture”, focussing on agriculture in non-OECD countries. The students plant and learn about the main crops of the tropics, including legumes. The staff is active both in research and teaching.
We can offer:
Studies in International Agriculture, students for semester assignments and bachelor theses. (e.g. Participatory Plant Breeding, organic direct seeding of chickpeas, winter chickpea cultivation) We also offer international consultancies and research collaboration, (e.g. Farmer Field Schools)
